Brennan Fritts
I am a high school junior, journalist and athlete. This website portfolio shares my experience through my school's nationally-recognized newspaper, The Southerner.

I attend Midtown High School, a public high school in Atlanta. I take advantage of Midtown's opportunities by taking AP and Honors courses. I am a 4.0 student currently ranked second in my graduating class.

Beyond my core classes, I selected the Journalism track at my school. The Southerner is one of the nation's leading student newspapers, with an annual readership of over 185,000. This year is my second year as a news editor for my paper. As a news assistant managing editor, I educate my peers and community on impactful topics in our community and beyond.

In addition to journalism, I am deeply involved in both my school and national volleyball teams. At Midtown, I have been a three-year varsity starter, have been named first-team all-region for two years, have been named all-state for two years and was named Offensive Player of the Year in the region in my sophomore year. For club, I have played travel volleyball since sixth grade and have been named to the AVCA Phenom List for the past three years.

I have a true passion for leading and educating my peers and I hope to pursue this throughout the rest of my high school and future career.
